We had a really enjoyable week in your house in Argigliano. It was very comfortable, and for us not at all cold. We really liked the countryside. It is amazing how many trees are there.
I really appreciated the effort you made in sending us information. Unfortunately, by the time we sorted out the car hire, met my daughter, and found our way to Aulla the supermarkets had just closed. However, this was compensated for by taking your advice and going to the market in Fivizzano the following day in order to buy plenty of fresh fruit and other local produce

We have rented 30 or 50 holiday lets over the years including a few in this area and this one is the best. View, facilities and comfy bed. Nice to add Il Borghetto to our local list (Great steak ) and nice to see our faves such as Da Remo ( Monzone) and Antic Molino ( Castelnuovo) still great. Will return.

We have enjoyed our fourth visit to La Chicca. As ever a beautiful place to relax. Good local shops and restaurants -try the round salami from the grocer/ vegetable shop). Good to see the railway being modernised; helpful staff in the station cafe for train connections. Welcoming neighbours.

Our second visit to this area and it continues to astound us. We loved La Chicca and the little village, both perfectly situated for getting around. One can be as active or relaxed as one chooses.
We did both Firenze and the Cinque Terre by train ( no trouble with the timetable.) We also loved sitting on the verandah with a glass of wine in hand , admiring the view and watching the world go by. We look forward to our third visit to Lunigiana.

This has been such a marvellous adventure for my husband and me. We found the hamlet enchanting and its surrounding hillsides beautiful. What a sunset!

A very relaxing, early summer holiday ( our first since giving up full time work). The walk to Ugliancaldo is well worth the effort, and the views from the church memorable. Best to book a seat at the restaurant if you go on a Saturday or Sunday.

Every day a different experience! Neighbours were helpful and friendly and local shop keepers even opened shop one evening as we were low on supplies.
La Spezia was a joy, the port, the shops, the shops, the shops!
Beds comfortable, DVD and CD selection great eclectic mix, as books were too!! So much more to see and do. We will be back!! Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Superb! Have enjoyed every minute. Cottage was so much more than we expected. Really lovely.
Can’t believe no one has mentioned Il Borghetto. Look past their excellent pizza menu and try the restaurant menu and for buttons. ‘Fillet in coffee’ sounds awful but is gorgeous.

We have had a wonderful time in your delightful Casa di Lunigiana. The position is excellent and Argigliano is charming and very relaxing. The books and maps and the restaurant cards with comments are a great idea.
