We hope that the Lunigiana International Music Festival will not mind us recirculating the following post:
“Based on an idea of Andrea Rossi, musical director of the “Tuscany Opera Ensemble” and a member of the Associazione Musicale “G. Verdi” of Fivizzano, and Chantal Balestri, pianist at New York University, in collaboration with the Municipal Administration of Fivizzano (MS), the Lunigiana International Music Festival was born, the first edition which will take place from June 18-28, 2018 in the medieval town of Fivizzano in beautiful Tuscany. Musicians from all over the world and with no age limit are invited to attend the festival as students. The 10-day schedule includes private lessons, masterclasses, chamber music, public concerts and a competition at the end of the festival where participants will play as soloists with orchestra. Instruments taught will be piano, chamber music, voice, violin, viola and violoncello. The festival offers Participants the chance for professional growth and to make music together under the tutelage of teachers of the highest level. “Lunigiana International Music Festival” will be a place for the meeting and exchanging of mutual cultures and knowledge, encouraging tolerance and peace among peoples.
