Thanks to Eileen for this follow up to  our previous Blog on things for kids in Lunigiana. I pinched the photo from one I tweeted earlier, but which was taken last year.
There is a lot happening at Equi Terme this week which may be of use to those of you with children in Italian schools, including various storytellings and the big zip wire which I have never seen in action.  Check out on Facebook through comitato operatori turistici Lunigiana.  Gives out events happening in the area.
Also look up Sigeric,  another tourist information/organiser- including e-bike trips for 9+ and the Stretti di Giredo- river walk/swimming;  all ages but reasonable fitness needed also good shoes essential e.g. trainers, as the river bed is stony and rough -sigeric supply protective hardhats and wetgear plus guide from information centre on outskirts of Pontremoli.
Genova has the Citta dei bambini on one of the quays at the port(– suitable for younger children  –5 t0 11ish -things to do of a scientific nature and small climbing areas,–) plus a very large Aquarium to visit and last time we were there a Spanish galleon type boat to look round– parking a bit of a problem so needs an early trip.
For more information on these activities and any other aspect of holidaying in Lunigiana, please go to https://www.luniholidays.co.uk/contact/ and tell us what you’d like to know.
